Sparkling Margarita
Updated: May 1, 2020
Makes 4 servings

This is a lighter, fizzy take on a classic margarita. The fizz and the hint of orange makes it extra special.
This recipe can be used as a base, and you can add some other ingredients like mangos, strawberries, watermelon or jalapeños!
Ingredients:
1 cup of good Tequila
1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1.5 oz Tripple Sec
2 cups of ice
1 can sparkling seltzer water (I used a lime flavor)
You can also add any other flavors. At the end of the video above, you will see I made a watermelon jalapeño version. I followed the recipe above and added 1 oz fresh watermelon juice, a few watermelon chunks and muddled in 3 slices of jalapeños.
Directions:
1. Add all of the ingredients, except for the sparkling water, to a shaker bottle and shake!
2. Pour 1/4 of the seltzer water, and 1/2 cup of ice into your glass and top with tequila mixture.
You can garnish with a slice of lime to make it extra special
*You may also salt your rim, but I am not a fan of salted rims so I left it out!
